What is your return / exchange policy?

PREBAN will gladly accept returns / exchanges within 30 days of delivery.

Please email hello@preban.com with your order number and specific items you would like to return / exchange.

Returned / exchanged merchandise must be in original sellable condition.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

PREBAN will not accept responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of lost packages without proof of delivery.

In the case of a return, when your items are received PREBAN will refund to the same credit card account with which the original purchase was made.

PREBAN will process your refund within three business days. The time it takes for the refund to post back to your account may vary depending on your bank and/or credit card company.

What credit cards do you accept?

PREBAN accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club. Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Meta Pay are also accepted.

Do you charge sales tax?

There is no sales tax. PREBAN is based in Oregon, where it doesn't apply.

Is this site secure?

PREBAN uses 256-bit SSL encryption on the site, and uses Shopify for processing payments. As a payment processor, Shopify fully complies with all PCI requirements for e-commerce security. This means that any personal information entered is fully protected and will never be disclosed. PREBAN respects your right to privacy. PREBAN collects only the information necessary to complete your order, or to contact you regarding the status of your order. What is "post consumer recycled" paper?

Post consumer recycled means that we print our cards on paper made from materials that American consumers such as yourself have recycled. Old newspapers, flyers, paper bags etc... This makes up 75% of the card material; the other 25% is hemp. Our cards and envelopes are 100% biodegradable and compostable 😊. There are no bleaches, no dyes, and our hemp paper is acid free and chlorine free.

Why hemp?

Lots of reasons actually!

When comparing it to tree paper, 4 times more hemp paper can be produced by the same amount of land.

Hemp grows extremely quickly; it can be harvested for paper after four months, compared to tree paper which take 8-12 years (for softwood trees - pine, cedar redwood, spruce, douglas fir), and 20-80 years (for hardwood trees - walnut, maple, oak, mahogany, teak, hickory).

Hemp paper can be recycled 7 times compared to tree paper which can be recycled only 3 times.

Hemp paper is a lot stronger than tree paper. Hemp paper contains 85% cellulose fiber, compared to tree paper which contains only 30%. The fibers in hemp paper are also longer, which means the paper is more durable and less susceptible to sunlight, heat, and dampness.
